If so, I provide private-pay consultation focused on real-world functioning and independence for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences impacting daily life, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and related executive functioning challenges.
This work focuses on:
- college and independent living transition support
- vocational functioning and workplace readiness
- executive functioning systems and skill development
- adaptive behavior assessment using structured tools such as the Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS)
Assessments can include:
- Career Assessment Inventory Enhanced
- Assessment of Functional Living
The assessment may include:
- A clinical interview with the individual and/or caregiver
- Review of relevant records (when available)
- Structured assessment of adaptive and executive functioning skills using tools such as the Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS)
- Discussion of current challenges across home, school, work, and community settings
- Targeted observation or skill demonstration when appropriate
The exact components are individualized based on the referral question and the client's goals.
Areas that may be evaluated include:
- Daily living and self-care skills
- Executive functioning (planning, organization, time management, task completion)
- Communication and self-advocacy
- Social and interpersonal functioning
- College readiness
- Workplace readiness
- Community participation
- Independent living skills
Following the assessment, you'll receive:
- A summary of strengths and areas of need
- Prioritized recommendations
- Practical strategies to improve independence
- Recommendations for direct skill instruction or coaching, if appropriate
- Guidance on accommodations, environmental supports, and next steps
Direct skills training by BCBA may be available post evaluation to support in clinic, at home or in the community.
Pay Rates
Assessment: $100 Per hour (Max of 8 hours)
Direct Skills Training: $150 per hour
